An 8-page guideline on manuscripts (including Action Plan and Quality Control) has been issued vide no. 2002-Home(Elec) dt 12.8.2008. All EROs/AEROs may see it.

BDO Barjora: (1) No. (2) We've in the past dealt with new enrolment of Christian Sisters or Hindu Monks with assumed names and fictional parents. So this case may be treated as a change of name, provided the change is validly done. For name change, affidavit+gazette+advt.-in-newspaper etc are probably necessary. Check with GP if possible.
SDO Bolpur: (1) We have no objection if the words "Photo to be Removed" are inserted in column 9 of proforma E whenever applicable (2) Please send a written official note so that we can seek explanation from WTL -CEO
Sir, 1)In para 4.7 No. 2002-Home (Elec) Dt. 12/08/2008 it is noted that in case of shifting the entire section from part YY to part ZZ a remark ' the whole section No. X is transposed from part YY to part No ZZ ' may be inserted on the relevant electoral roll pages in lieu of writing manuscripts . In these cases there may be a need of creating a section in part ZZ. Kindly let us know How this action can be written on the manuscript? 2) IN the delimitation notification the entire Panshkura Municipality was not there which was earlier pointed out. We have done our exercise by taking Panshkura Municipality under 205 Panskura Paschim AC but no formal notification has been received at our end. Kindly instruct us for followup action. N. Sir, In the book "Registration of Electors-a quick reference for election managers" we find a mistake in page No.250 where the District Magistrate & District Election Officer,Howrah, is not shown in the list and sl.no.12 is missing.
SDO Tamluk: (1). To create a new section in a part, you will have to give the details in format R3 to the WTL Vendor now working in the ERO's office. (2)Your presumption is confirmed. We have taken up with Commission in Delhi.
OC Election Howrah: Yes, your observation is right. We have also received a few other error reports in the book. Once we get all of these, we'll publish an 'errata'. -CEO
