The Election Commission of India has directed that the revised programme for Special Revision of Photo-Electoral Rolls consequent upon the Delimitation of Constituencies shall be as follows:-
- Draft Publication of Rolls: 31.7.2008
- Period of Filing Claims and Objections : 31.7.08 to 07.8.08
- Last Date of Disposal of Claims & Objections: 22.08.08
- Final Publication of Photo-Electoral Rolls: 15.09.08

sir, A clarification is sought,whether'O' level cetificate given by other AICTE affilated organisations or Deptt of Sports & Youth Services will be allowed to apply in addition DOEAC 'O" level certificate holder-Shyamal,OC ELEC,Bdn
AICTE itself has to certify that the certificate is equivalent to theirs.

Regarding Roll Observers, there is a long list given to them by the Commission. These are grouped into 5 heads:-
A. Electoral Rolls (BLOs' functioning, Complaints, statistical analysis etc)
B. EPICs (Residual non-EPIC voters, field verification etc)
C. Photo-Rolls (Image availability etc)
D. Reorgatisation of Polling Stations
E. Delimitation of Constituencies (Maps, EROs/AEROs etc)
