Please see our GOs dated 28.8.07 and 18.2.07. Following norms, posts of Data Entry Operators are to be filled up through Employment Exchanges. This should be done by August 2008.
The district-wise break-up of vacancies to be so filled up are:

What Qualification are required in DEOs?
Sir,
For 5 nos. of sanctioned posts of Data Entry Operators(1 SC,1ST & 3UR)in our Cooch Behar district,only 32names(5 SC,2 ST and 25 UR) have been sponsored through the Employment Exchanges having requiste qualification of DOEACC 'O' level and above. Kindly clarify whether we can proceed for selection process from amongst the sponsored candidates without going for open advertisement.There is no other eligible candidates registered at the Exchanges as intimated.The matter has been discussd with the Dy. Director as well.
