Sir,
Delimitation of ACs done almost after 30 years and so the re organisatio of polling stations allowing to delimited ACs. My humble sugession is that one additional column with heading "Ac No / Part No. Before Delimitation" if introduce in the Polling Stations list finnaly published then it will be of immence help and more understandable for common voters as well as political party, DEO, ERO, & AERO. More over whether any old part is leftout can also be detected and remidial action can be taken forthwith submitted for kind perusal.

Sir,
District Darjeeling
1136 before rationalisation
1136 + 19 =1155after rationalisation

it may be noted that due to the local situation in the Hill subdivisions of Darjeeling although the draft list was published on 16/6/2008 receipt of claims and objections, political party meeting or publicity for that matter does not seem possible,at least till date.

Please be informed.

Darjeeling:
Seen OK. I'm going to Delhi on 23.6.2008 and I'll keep the Commission apprised of the situation. But I'd urge that, considering this relates to the Election Commision of India, the involvement of the political parties may be tried as persuasively as possible.

Murshidabad & Jalpaiguri:
Thanks for the data.

Purulia:
We are advising the districts for incorporating this information in the formats R-1, R-2 and R-3. You are free to share this information with political parties if they are interested.
