Under continuous updation i.e. after FP and before next DP (for example as of today) a Volunteer can collect forms 6,7,8,8A of applicants in the
same part where he himself is enrolled and has an EPIC.
The Volunteer will have to submit the forms under a formatted letter called "Format for submitting applications in bulk".
All EROs / AEROs to be sensitised.

Error in Col.6 of 3(iii)of the Format needs to be corrected.I think it would be 7,8,8A instead of 7,B & BA.

The decision of ECI for submission of forms 6/7/8/8A etc. during cont. updating period by volunteers may be construed as a direction given u/r 26(1A) of Registration of Electors Rules, 1960. But it stopped short of laying down the detail modus operandi for disposal of such forms & the following points need to be cleared :-
1) Whether any acknowledgement receipt is reqd. to be given to volunteer upon such production?
2) Whether corr. notices can be given to volunteer for servicing of the same to the electors?
OR,
Notice of hearing to be served separately thru. BLOs?
3) There is no mention of duplicate copies of forms as reqd u/r 26(1), so what will be hung up in notice board of ERO, as separate listing forms in 9/10 etc. are not prepared during cont. updating? OR, in absence of such duplicate forms, can the list submitted by volunteer be hung up along with a notice for prescribed 7 days period inviting claims & objections from the people?

(3) Ask for duplicates from the Volunteer. If this has not been brought, Xerox will be done by ERO. But it is a good point and EROs may guide the volunteer for future submissions. But receipts should not be refused just because the duplicate copy is missing.
