Except for Malda, S-24 Paraganas, Murshidabad, Howrah, Purba Midnapore, Purulia and Bankura, we've not received the data on conversion of existing mother roll of service electors mapped to delimited ACs.
Commission is pressing hard. Data is to be sent to Ministry of Defence.
Remaining districts may please hurry up.

For 5 nos. of sanctioned posts of Data Entry Operators(1 SC,1ST & 3UR)in our Cooch Behar district,only 32names(5 SC,2 ST and 25 UR) have been sponsored through the Employment Exchanges having requiste qualification of DOEACC 'O' level and above. Kindly clarify whether we can proceed for selection process from amongst the sponsored candidates without going for open advertisement.There is no other eligible candidates registered at the Exchanges as intimated.The matter has been discussed with the Dy. Director,Employment Exchange as well.

Sir,
Dy.Director(National Exchange)told me that we may proceed with the sponsored names if we wish.And if our purpose is not served then we may ask the Dy.Director to sponsor some more names from the record of the registered cadidates in the neighbouring district Exchanages.But it will take another two months I think.What should we do now.

(1) There isn't, to my knowledge, any G.O. prescribing the minimum number for candidates that are sponsored by Employment Exchanges. On the other hand, the Election Commission has advised that all vacancies should be filled up by Sep 08. As such, you may agree to the opinion of the Dy Director of Employment and proceed further so as to complete appointment by 30.9.08
