Due to rationalisation of polling stations, many polling premises may have shifted. Electors may not always know this. During the draft publication beginning on 31.7.08, many electors may go to their old, familiar, pre-shifted booth.
In order to guide them to the new premises where the D.O. would be available, a Notice may be pasted on the OLD building, giving directions for finding the new shifted booth.
Supervisors / AEROs may verify that this has indeed been done by DOs.

a)What is the time schedule for submitting the reports SR-2008-01 to SR-2008-06? Will there be any other proforma for report in this Revision ?
b)If any application for inclusion is received on the ground of shifting from a voter who is permanently residing in his present address for more than six months at present, but not on 01.01.2008, should his claim for inclusion be accepted ?
c)How can we report regarding inclusion & deletion in Form 8 as in SR-2008-4 there is no provision for Form 8 ?

1. Regarding time schedules, I'll write a New Post on the Main Page so that all others can also follow.
2.The qualifying date relates to age. It has no relation to Ordinary Residence.
3. True. But please ensure that the arithmetic is ok in all reports (ie No. of Electors in Draft Roll + Inclusions - Deletions = No. of Electors in Final Roll AND No. of claims admitted < no. of inclusions etc)
