Pay Attention to Language of Roll
The language of newly delimited rolls to be published on 31.7.08 may be different than what was existing earlier. The Commission's notification has long ago been circulated. But now that printing programme is approaching, each district may double-check with WTL sub-vendor that the languages conform to the new directions. In particular, North-24 Parganas, Kolkata and South 24-Parganas EROs should guard against wrong translation/ transliteration of names of electors.

As per instruction we have submitted proposals for the appointment of five no. of AEROs for each delimitated A.C.All B.D.O.s are requesting for the appointment of Additional AEROs.Sir, will we send proposals for the appointment of Additional AEROs?

Yes, you may do so. Addl Hearing AEROs may be proposed. Keep in view what was done during SRER-I 2008
No. 1595 (21)-Home(Elec)/R-12A-1/2008 of Joint CEO, West Bengal regarding appointment of AEROs in respect of 287-Nanoor (SC) AC is incorrect. Area under Labpur Development Block are not included in 287-Nanoor (SC) AC. Hence BDO, Labpur should be replaced by Panchayat Development Officer, Nanoor Block as one of the AEROs in respect of 287-Nanoor (SC) AC, in the list, as proposed by us.

It seems your earlier proposal mentioned Labhpur too. In any case, at this stage you may propose additional AEROs for hearing.
Attention: Kolkata, North 24-Parganas & South 24-Paraganas:-
For changed-language rolls, spelling of names may be a problem. Please make suo motu corrections that can be incorporated into the supplements.
