To
The Chief Electoral Officer
West Bengal
Sir, Sub : Clarification in
connection with the age
proof document
Clarification may please be given for the following point :-
1. The aspirant electors took birth after 26.01.1989, can be permitted to submit the photocopy of Admit card of any examination conducted by State /Central board as the proof of age along with the application during the process of Continuous Updation instead of Birth Certificate (It is because they claim that they have no such birth certificate). Delayed registration may not solve this problem as it takes longer period and confirmation from the field level.

Yours faithfully

Sir,
Whether, after the Press Release or after the Notification, invitation like Marriage Ceremony, Birthday Ceremony etc, where there is having ample chance to attend with some representative of Political Parties, alongwith sitting MP/MLA, should an Govt Official like RO/ERO/ARO attend such occassion ? If yes, what should be done if such invitation comes from any representative of Political party ?

Yes, you may accept Madhyamik Admit Certificate date. However, this case may be referred to us through DM so that we can refer to Delhi.
(2) My advice is: avoid it diplomatically. Perhaps on grounds of headache?!!
