Samples of 001C forms (in English and Bengali) are available on our web. Districts may print necessary copies. Each booth may be provided a minimum of 30 copies of 001C - more in urban constituencies.
Post FP EPIC programme should be drawn up by the districts within the period 1.2.2007 to 10.2.2007 in consultation with WTL. The programme must be communicated to DOs before 14.11.2007 so that they can guide the applicants. The recommended level is one team per block or one team per AC in Urban Constituencies around Kolkata.
We are holding all political party meeting at State level on 1.11.2007 at Kolkata. Districts may do so likewise soon thereafter.
Shubho Bijoya to all.

Sir,
I am not getting the link from which the sample of 001C forms (Bengali) can be obtained from the web. If you would be kind enough to send the link in the CEO website then we could take the subsequent appropriate actions for printing.

sir,
It has been recommended for one camera team per AC. But it is experienced in every year that average inlusion of new voters in 265 Durgapur-II is near about 12000. To cover 12000 electors at least 30 camera days are required.
As the photo taking is to be chalked out before 14/11/07, so necessary guideline may kindly be given in this BLOG on the above matter at an early.
yours faithfully,
Pranab, OC Election, Durgapur.
We are doing the same even for Kolkata, ie 1 camera team per AC. I'd recommend that you draw up a programme accordingly (that will give you 11 camera-days since duration will be from 1.2 to 10.2.2008). We can review if more cameras are required only after FP. Of course, the cameras would be in the same venue. And I expect many to give photographs also.
Sir,
The CDs for the electoral Roll were supplied on 5th Nov after the meeting. When prining of 2sets for 2nos of A/Cs were complete, WTL informed us about some mistekes on the top sheet on 6th evening. Corrected top sheets have been sent through mail. They could not send any corrected CD for the whole A/Cs causing much problem to the printing and sortng work. Till this date we have not received the corrected top sheets for the A/C no.6.Both the folders for A/C 6 and 7 sent to us actually contain the top sheets for A/C no.7 only.Already it has been too late.I have informed the matter to WTL.Again the corrected top sheets are still having some mistakes as noticed. It seems to be a major problem to print all the sets within such a short period overcoming all such obstacles.Kindly look into the matter. Thanking you.

Coochbehar, I see your point. See comments of "..Master CDs.." where I advised Burdwan to attach "ERRATAs" in each of the top sheets of the 14 copies before distributing to DOs or Parties. You may think of the marked copies of rolls.
Sir,
Why don't you use UNICODE technology to publish the voter list and other related texts. Using UNICODE helps searching through google and also does not require special fonts. Any UNICODE font will suffice.
You can look into Bangladesh's site at: http://www.votebd.org/

Debashis De
Thanks for the suggestion. We're indeed in the mode of making a transition to Unicode. But my guess is that it's going to take a while.
Form 001C should have the provision for writing the names, father's/husband's name in english to ensure no error of spelling in the EPIC. In Hooghly we have issued directions to all CDO to record the English spelling without fail.
Fresh error has crept in some of the top sheets, SLA nay be directed to find out the reason to avoid recurrence.
