In the meeting at the Commission on 30.8.2007, the schedule of the Summary Revision of Rolls was discussed. The draft rolls will be published on 14.11.2007 while the last date of claims and objections will be 3.12.2007. Special campaign days will be the weekends of 24-25 Nov 2007 and 1-2 Dec 2007.
The draft rolls will be published on a Wednesday. So supervision works like DO mobilisation etc can be done on the Monday and Tuesday.

Will the shifted electors be photographed in the new AC during every Revision? Won't it be possible to extract their images from prev. AC database, with EPIC No. as index & insert their images in current AC E.Roll? Then the EPIC prog. following every Revision will be limited among new entrants only.

A very relevant query, Bankura. We'll transform to Oracle database this year and then it will be possible to keep text-data and picture-data virtually together. A kind of 'cut-n-paste' system will be put in place so that the record with photo will be shifted electronically.
